Centera Will Demonstrate Its 400G OSFP Transceivers in OFC 2018

Centera Photonics Inc., a silicon optical engine solution provider for data center interconnects,
will demonstrate its 400G SR8 OSFP AOC in OFC 2018 at San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, USA. The 400G AOC is based on 50G-PAM4 per channel integrated on Centera’s SIP (System in Package) optical engine platform. The PAM4 technology, together with Centera’s proprietary Silicon MEMS optical engine platform sets a new frontier for the next generation 400G high performance optical interconnects in the datacenter applications. The MEMS optical engine platform is very small in size and with excellent thermal management capabilities and reliabilities by its Silicon material via Semiconductor process. Both technologies are also implemented on 200G optical transceiver and Centera will debut the 200G QSFP56 DR4 transceiver in show booth.

Moreover, Centera will demo its 200G NRZ solutions by 200G eSR4 and 200G CWDM4. The 200G-eSR4 and CWDM4 transceivers are both with QSFP-DD form factor, designed for linkage of 200Gbps Ethernet from
All optical transceivers/AOCs utilize Centera’s MEMS based optical engine platform and System in Package (SIP) integration technology, together with selected high quality DBF laser and PIN PDs to achieve reliable packet communication within datacenters.
